Standards
These are the standards we get you certified to.
If you need more than one, we implement them as a single system your team actually runs.
ISO 9001
Quality Management Systems
The global language of quality. ISO 9001 is the foundation customers, primes, and registrars expect — and the backbone of every integrated management system WCH builds.
ISO 9001 in the U.S.
AS9100 / IA9100
Aerospace Quality Management
AS9100 is the ticket to aerospace and defense work today. IA9100 is the IAQG’s forthcoming international 9100 revision — same family, same customers, one WCH system that carries you through both. We implement AS9100D now and design it so the IA9100 transition is an upgrade, not a rebuild.
AS9100 / IA9100 in the U.S.
IATF 16949
Automotive Quality Management
IATF 16949 is unforgiving. Core tools, customer-specific requirements, and process control have to be real. WCH has implemented, audited, and trained IATF systems for Tier I suppliers since the TS 16949 era.
IATF 16949 in the U.S.
ISO 13485
Medical Device Quality
ISO 13485 plus FDA QSR and cGMP is how medical device companies stay on the market. WCH has taken organizations through ISO audits and FDA inspections with zero nonconformances.
ISO 13485 in the U.S.
ISO 14001
Environmental Management
ISO 14001 turns environmental obligation into a managed system: aspects, compliance obligations, objectives, and operational control that plant managers will actually run.
ISO 14001 in the U.S.
ISO 17025
Testing & Calibration Laboratories
ISO/IEC 17025 is how laboratories prove competence — method validation, measurement uncertainty, impartiality, and a quality system that accreditation bodies will grant.
ISO 17025 in the U.S.
ISO 27001
Information Security
ISO 27001 (and ISO 27701 privacy) is how companies prove they protect information. WCH implements ISMS programs that satisfy customers, cyber questionnaires, and certification bodies — including the 2022 revision.
ISO 27001 in the U.S.
ISO 45001
Occupational Health & Safety
ISO 45001 is the system behind fewer incidents, cleaner OSHA posture, and customer EHS scorecards. WCH implements it as a working OH&S system — often combined with ISO 14001.
ISO 45001 in the U.S.
ISO 50001
Energy Management
ISO 50001 gives energy-intensive sites a disciplined way to cut consumption, prove savings, and meet customer and corporate energy goals.
ISO 50001 in the U.S.
Standards updates
Several standards you use are changing.
ISO 14001:2026 is published. ISO 9001:2026 is scheduled. IA9100, IATF 16949, and ISO 45001 are in revision. ISO 27001:2022 is the current information-security edition. Move when it helps the business, or on the official timeline — both are valid when they are planned.
Published — transition open
ISO 14001
The 2026 edition keeps the familiar structure and tightens how organizations consider environmental conditions, climate, and integration with strategy. It is an update, not a rewrite of the 2015 system.
Transition notes
Publication scheduled
ISO 9001
ISO 9001:2026 is expected to keep the Harmonized Structure and add clearer expectations on quality culture, ethical conduct, and how digital tools and climate context show up in the QMS. It is not a 2015-scale redesign.
Transition notes
In revision — aligned with ISO 9001
AS9100 / IA9100
IA9100 is the planned successor to AS9100, issued as a single international document rather than separate regional versions. WCH implements AS9100D now and structures the system so the IA9100 transition is a controlled update.
Transition notes
2nd edition in development
IATF 16949
The 2nd edition is being written from stakeholder feedback. IATF’s published priorities are simplification, clarity, and efficiency — while keeping the scheme effective — plus better handling of customer-specific requirements.
Transition notes
DIS in circulation — expected 2027
ISO 45001
The revision is expected to keep the management-system structure and put more weight on psychosocial health, workplace culture, and how work is actually organized — including remote and changing work patterns.
Transition notes
2022 edition in force
ISO 27001
The 2022 edition reorganized Annex A around four themes and 93 controls, including 11 new controls aimed at current information-security practice. New and continuing certifications are to ISO/IEC 27001:2022.

Change and certification dates
All nine standards WCH supports. Rows without a revision page are stable editions.

| ISO 45001 | ISO 45001:2018 | ISO 45001:2027 (expected) | Expected 2nd half 2027 | Typically ~3 years after publication* |
| ISO 50001 | ISO 50001:2018 | No revision planned | Confirmed 2024 | 2018 edition remains the requirement |
* Expected dates follow the usual ISO or sector pattern and have not all been published as binding accreditation rules. Confirm the cut-off with your certification body before you lock an audit calendar.

How an implementation actually runs
A named project manager. A live dashboard. No mystery.
01
Listen & gap analysis
We learn how you actually operate, then measure that against the standard, customer-specific requirements, and regulations that apply. No boilerplate gap reports.
02
Design a system you can run
Process maps, a usable manual, and procedures written in plain language. Microsoft Office or the software you already have. Never a proprietary platform you will be stuck renting.
03
Coach the people who will own it
A project manager on every site. Action-item lists. A live dashboard. Training and floor coaching so documentation and behavior are the same thing.
04
Internal audit like it matters
Friendly, qualified internal audits that find issues as Opportunities for Improvement when we can, and NCs when we must. This is how you walk into Stage 2 without surprises.
05
You own it — support as needed
We support Stage 1 and Stage 2. The system is built so your people can run it without a consultant in the room. After the certificate, we stay available for surveillance, a new site, or the next standard — if and as you need us. 100% certification success since 2003.
Why organizations select WCH
The decision of which firm you hire will last longer than the certificate.
Plenty of firms do solid work. These are the differences organizations tell us they notice.
Documentation
Lengthy documentation, sometimes tied to software you keep licensing
Clear procedures in Microsoft Office, controlled with tools you already own
Ownership
The consultant can remain the person who knows the system
Your team owns the system; we are available when and if you need us
Track record
Results described in general terms
100% certification success since 2003
Project control
Status by email; added work billed separately
Named project manager, action list, and live dashboard per site
Audits
A long findings list that can overwhelm CAPA
Value-added audits with strengths, weaknesses, and useful Opportunities for Improvement
After the certificate
The engagement often ends at registration
Available for quick chats by phone, text, or email — and will support sustaining work, additional standards, and new locations
Industries
Quality systems that fit the work your industry actually does.

Aerospace & Defense
An aerospace quality system that large customers will accept when they add you as an approved supplier.

Automotive
IATF 16949 the way Tier I plants actually run.

Medical Devices
ISO 13485 and FDA QSR as one system, not two.

Manufacturing & Commercial
ISO 9001 that helps the business, not a binder that hides from it.

Calibration & Testing Laboratories
ISO/IEC 17025 for labs that need accredited results.

Information Security
ISO 27001 that survives Stage 2 and the next customer questionnaire.

Environmental
ISO 14001 operational controls a plant manager will run.

Occupational Health & Safety
ISO 45001 that supervisors use, not a safety binder they ignore.
Client results
“Exemplary.” Zero NCs. Zero Opportunities for Improvement. Best in class.
“I want to personally thank you for your very valued service. Your efforts have helped us achieve some amazing things. It is with great appreciation and pride of our accomplishments that I say thank you — job well done.”
“I am happy to report that we passed our recertification audit with 0 findings and 0 OFIs. The auditor was very pleased with how organized and communicative this plant has grown. He was impressed with the internal audit and my responses to your OFIs. A huge thank you to the WCH team for your help, guidance, and support.”
“We finished our first registration audit today, and everything went as expected. The registrar’s comment describing our implementation as “exemplary” is testament to your knowledge and how effective your work was in our system development.”
